Toachievethedirectionalcollapseofthebuilding,itisrequiredtohavearelativelyopenspaceinthedirectionofcollapseofthebuilding. Thehorizontaldistanceofthesiteinthedirectionofitsdumpingshouldnotbelessthan2/3~3/4buildingheight. Accordingtotheheightof29mofJinyangHotel,itisobviousthatthedistancebetweenJinyangHotelandthebuildings(commercialandresidentialbuildings,residentialbuildings)andstructures(high-voltagelines,waterpipes)tobeprotectedarenotuptothisrequirement. Consideringthatthedistancebetweentheeastandsouthsidesisonlyone-thirdoftheheightofthebuilding,theresidentialbuildingonthewestsideisonthesouthside,andthereisahigh-voltagelinetobeprotected.Fromtheconstructionsiteanalysis,thebetterwaytodumpisThegroundcollapsesmainly,anditslopesslightlytothenorthandwest.Sincethewestelevatorroomisthehighestpointofthewholebuilding,itisnecessarytocontrolthecollapserangeoftheexplosiontothenorth. Itwasdecidedtoadopttheobliquefoldingfoldingandlongitudinallong-notchblastingdemolitionschemeofthefirsttwo-spancollapseinthewestsideandthecollapseoftherear9-spantothenorth-northdirection.  ItisunderstoodthatthetopofthehillgardenislocatedinthesouthsideofZhongshanCollege,DongchengDistrict,ZhongshanCity,ZhongshanCity,ontheeastsideofthesnowroad,willbebuiltintheStarCityBuilding. Thebuildingtobeexplodedis104.1meters,withatotalof34floors(including1basement),33.8meterswidefromeasttowest,38.5meterslongfromnorthtosouth,and27875squaremeters. Thebuildingisframe-supportedshearwallstructure,arrangedina“well”shape.The1stfloorandthebasementareframestructures,the2-32floorsareshearwallstructures,andthemiddlepartisthecoretube. Theeastsideofthebuildingis44metersawayfromthebottomoftheslope,thesoutheastsideis40metersawayfromDongyueTemple;thesouthsideis5.2metersawayfromthewall,only6metersawayfromthenearestresidentialhouse;thewestsideis81metersawayfromthebottomoftheslope. Thebuildingwasbuiltin1994andwascappedin1997. Forvariousreasons,thebuildinghasnotbeenofficiallyputintouse.IthasbeenrenamedasthePeakGarden,YangmingMountainVilla,StarCity,andZhongshanCity,butithasneverbeenabletogetridofthefateofthe"unfinished". InJune2007,thebuildingwastransferredtoZhongshanChangjiangZhaoyeRealEstateDevelopmentCo.,Ltd.asawhole. InordertocopewiththeoverallplanningdevelopmentofZhongshanCity,acceleratethepaceofrenovationoftheoldcity,andaccordingtothecompany'sprojectplanningneeds,decidedtouseblastingdemolition,theplotwillberebuiltafterthedemolition.   OnFebruary25,commissionedbythePublicSecurityBureauoftheMinistryofPublicSecurity,theGuangdongProvincialPublicSecurityDepartmentandtheZhongshanPublicSecurityBureau,theChinaEngineeringBlastingAssociationhostedareviewmeetinginBeijingonthe“BlastingDemolitionProjectoftheUnfinishedBuildingoftheShijiazhuangPeakGardeninZhongshanCity”.TheexpertgroupledbyWangXuguang,academicianoftheChineseAcademyofEngineeringandchairmanoftheChinaEngineeringBlastingAssociation,listenedtothebriefingandreviewrequirementsoftheProvincialPublicSecurityDepartmentandtheMunicipalPublicSecurityBureauontheblastingproject,andintroducedtheconstructionplanoftheGuangdongZhongrenGroup.Afterquestioninganddiscussion,thereviewopinionswereputforwardandtheMunicipalPublicSecurityBureauwasapprovedtoapprovetheconstructionoftheproject. Inordertoensurethesafetyandsuccessoftheblastingdemolitionproject,theZhongshanMunicipalGovernmenthasspeciallysetupacoordinationheadquarters,whichisresponsiblefort
