  1 Project Overview

 

  The 18th floor of Building B of Qiaoyuan New Village is located in the downtown area of ​​Hankou, which is a new commercial and residential building. When the structural capping entered the stuccoing stage, the entire building was severely tilted in the northwest direction due to uneven settlement of the building foundation. On the afternoon of December 22, 1995, the top of the building had been displaced to the N15°W horizontally by about 1.4 m and continued to develop at a speed of 2 cm per hour. It was tilted 2.88 m on December 26 before the explosion. It is calculated that the critical state of natural dumping will be reached on December 28.

 

  The building owner decided to use the controlled blasting technology to immediately dismantle the building to ensure the safety of the surrounding buildings and personnel. Above the ground floor of the building is 18 stories high, 56m high, and another basement.The layout of the building is “H” shape, covering an area of ​​900m2 and a building area of ​​17100m2. It is a shearing wall and a tubular structure. The load-bearing wall is 20cm thick. The two-layer steel mesh has a mesh size of 15cm×15cm and the steel bar diameter is 10~18mm. . The total weight of reinforced concrete in the building is 32,400 tons (including the basement). The floor plan of the building is shown in Figure 1.

  On the east side of the building is a shoe factory production workshop, which is 12.8m closest to it. The south side is the repair workshop of an auto parts factory, which is 10.3m away from the nearest place; the west side is the new Sanyanqiao road with a distance of 45m, and there are high-voltage lines and communication lines on the ground parallel to the road, and there are gas pipes and tap water pipes underground; On the north side, two new eight-storey buildings are built, which is 6.2m away from the nearest side.    2 Overall plan for blasting demolition design

 

  2.1 Requirements for the program

 

  (1) Explode at an extraordinary construction speed before the building may be naturally dumped. It is expected that the building will reach the critical state of natural dumping on December 28, 1995, and it is possible to suddenly accelerate the dumping before this time. When formulating a plan, it must be considered as the first factor in winning time and supernormal construction.

 

  (2) Reliable technology and effective measures to ensure the safety of people, property and buildings around. The building is surrounded by factories, shops and residential buildings. When determining the plan, it must be ensured that the flying stones, shock waves and vibrations during the blasting do not cause damage and influence on the surroundings.

 

  (3) Accurately select the floor to overcome the difficulty of narrowing the collapsed site and insufficient dumping distance. The height above the ground of the building is 56m. According to the environmental conditions of the explosion area, it can only be directed to the northwest direction. When determining the plan, the best blasting floor must be selected to solve the problem of dumping distance; the height of the construction floor should be handled well, and the construction can be safely evacuated when there is a sudden change.

 

  2.2 Program Analysis

 

  The determination of the building blasting plan mainly considers the time, environment, site, construction, safety and other factors, and proposes the following four options:

 

  The first plan: blasting the first to second floors, let the building tilt toward the west while tilting toward the northwest. The advantages of the scheme are: easy to construct, easy to protect, fast construction speed, quick withdrawal of construction workers in case of sudden changes, large aspect ratio of the building body, easy to dump. The disadvantage is that the blasting slag collapses in a large range. After the collapse, the slag will cover the west side of the road surface, causing traffic disruption and roadside pipeline damage, that is, it may interrupt the overhead communication, power supply lines and underground buried gas that are laid parallel to the road. Water pipe.

 

  The second option: blasting the 1st to 2nd floors and the 9th to 11th floors, let the building collapse and then collapse to the west while tilting slightly to the northwest. The advantage of this solution is that the construction site can meet the collapse requirements.The shortcoming is: the construction time is long, it is difficult to guarantee the on-time detonation before December 28, 1995. The folding part of the construction floor is too high, the aspect ratio is small, the drilling air pressure loss is large, the drilling speed is slow, the protection is difficult, and the sudden change When the construction workers did not have time to evacuate.

 

  The third option: blasting the 1st to 2nd floors and the 6th to 8th floors, let the building collapse, and when it collapses to the west, it tilts slightly toward the northwest. The advantage of this scheme is that the construction site can meet the collapse requirements, the aspect ratio of the folded part is greater than 1, and the borehole pressure loss is not large. The disadvantage is that the construction time is long and it is difficult to guarantee that it will detonate on time before December 28, 1995. Although the floor is lower than the second scheme, the protection is still difficult.

 

  The fourth option: make appropriate adjustments on the basis of the third scheme, that is, only blast the 6th to 8th floors, and the 1st and 2nd floors do not blast. The advantage of this solution is that it meets the time requirements to the utmost. The disadvantage is that the 4th to 5th floors will be damaged after the collapse of the building, and the blasting construction of the 1st to 3rd floors will be difficult.

 

  2.3 Implementation plan

 

  Through repeated analysis and comparison of time, site, construction, safety and other factors, weighed the pros and cons, and after expert argumentation, finally decided to adopt the "half west dumping" blasting program, the main contents are:

 

  (1) In order to gain time, only the 6th to 8th floors will be blasted, and the 6th to 18th floors will collapse to the west while tilting to the northwest. The 1st to 5th floors will be 6 to 18 floors. After the slag, the explosion will be carried out.

 

  (2) According to the existing blasting equipment, a hybrid detonation system combining electric detonator and non-electric detonator is adopted, and the inside of the hole is combined with the extension of the hole, and the delay interval between the segment and the segment is 300 to 400 ms.

 

  (3) Use sandbag wall protection to lay parallel to the direction of the dumping to reduce the second vibration.

 

  (4) The load-bearing wall is mainly vertical drilling, supplemented by parallel drilling.

 

  (5) The elevator in the building has a high rigidity, but its own anti-flying stone has good performance and can be completely destroyed when it is exploded.

 

  (6) The 6th to 8th stairwells are externally charged, covered with sandbags, and detonated simultaneously with the same floor.

 

  (7) The last row of load-bearing walls in each building along the dumping direction shall not be detonated to maintain relative stability and accurate dumping direction.

 

  (8) Ensure that the drilling, charging and networking of the sixth floor are completed before the building is dumped naturally. It is in a detonation state and is developed upwards to 8 floors. In the event of a sudden change, it only detonates 6 floors.

 

  3 blasting parameter design

 

  3.1 blasthole arrangement

 

  According to the wall structure and the actual operation, two types of cloth holes are used, namely, a vertical drilling form (A) with the wall and a parallel drilling form (B) with the wall.

 

  Form A: hole spacing a = 25 ~ 30 cm; row spacing b = a; hole depth L = 14 cm.

 

  Form B: hole pitch a = 25 ~ 30 cm; hole depth L = 50 ~ 150 cm.

 

  3.2 Dosage calculation

 

  The single-pore dose is calculated as g=KabH, and different K values ​​are selected according to different parts. The surrounding wall takes K=4000g/m3, the single hole charge q=50g; the partition wall takes k=5000g/m3, and the single hole charge q=50~75g. At the time of charging, 50 g and 75 g were staggered. Take k=6000g/m3 in the elevator and q=75g in single hole. A blasting test was carried out in the elevator part before the explosion, which proved that the above parameters are reasonable.

 

  The total charge of the building is about 360kg.

 

  3.3 Detonating network

 

  According to the structural characteristics of the building, the number of blastholes, the existing blasting equipment and the time constraints, the detonation system combined with the non-electrical millisecond detonating tube and the electric detonator is used, and the hole is combined with the hole extension.

 

  The sixth floor: 3, 5, 8 sections, the delay is 950ms → 1250ms → 2350ms, ∑ △ ≥ 1400ms, all the holes are delayed.

 

  The 7th floor: 4, 5, 8 sections, the delay is 650ms → 1550ms → 2350ms, ∑ △ ≥ 1700ms, delay in all holes.

 

  The 8th floor: 4, 5, 8 sections, the delay is 650ms → 1500ms → 2350ms, ∑ △ ≥ 1700ms, delay in all holes.

 

  The network adopts the form of “parallel-string-string”, that is, the detonating tube is connected with the electric detonator by “one grab” connection. Each tuft tube is detonated with two power generation detonators, and the two detonators are connected in series, then connected in series. Connect to the network.

 

  4 blasting effect

 

  After 72 hours of continuous construction, the building detonated on time at 10 am on December 26, 1995. At the moment of detonation, the building moved down first and then collapsed to the northwest. From the blasting effect:

 

  (1) The dumping direction is basically the same as the design dumping direction;

 

  (2) Shock waves and flying stones do not cause any harm to surrounding buildings;

 

  (3) The secondary vibration is damaged by the sandbag, and the surrounding buildings are intact;

 

  (4) After the collapse of the building, most of the shear walls and beams have been broken and broken, which is beneficial to the slag removal. The whole blasting effect has fully met the design requirements and the intended purpose.v

 ItisunderstoodthatthetopofthehillgardenislocatedinthesouthsideofZhongshanCollege,DongchengDistrict,ZhongshanCity,ZhongshanCity,ontheeastsideofthesnowroad,willbebuiltintheStarCityBuilding. Thebuildingtobeexplodedis104.1meters,withatotalof34floors(including1basement),33.8meterswidefromeasttowest,38.5meterslongfromnorthtosouth,and27875squaremeters. Thebuildingisframe-supportedshearwallstructure,arrangedina“well”shape.The1stfloorandthebasementareframestructures,the2-32floorsareshearwallstructures,andthemiddlepartisthecoretube. Theeastsideofthebuildingis44metersawayfromthebottomoftheslope,thesoutheastsideis40metersawayfromDongyueTemple;thesouthsideis5.2metersawayfromthewall,only6metersawayfromthenearestresidentialhouse;thewestsideis81metersawayfromthebottomoftheslope. Thebuildingwasbuiltin1994andwascappedin1997. Forvariousreasons,thebuildinghasnotbeenofficiallyputintouse.IthasbeenrenamedasthePeakGarden,YangmingMountainVilla,StarCity,andZhongshanCity,butithasneverbeenabletogetridofthefateofthe"unfinished". InJune2007,thebuildingwastransferredtoZhongshanChangjiangZhaoyeRealEstateDevelopmentCo.,Ltd.asawhole. InordertocopewiththeoverallplanningdevelopmentofZhongshanCity,acceleratethepaceofrenovationoftheoldcity,andaccordingtothecompany'sprojectplanningneeds,decidedtouseblastingdemolition,theplotwillberebuiltafterthedemolition.
