On October 30, 2007, the Engineering College of PLA University of Science and Technology successfully blasted a 180m high-rise reinforced concrete chimney at the Nanjing Thermal Power Plant. The chimney is the highest chimney in China.

 

  Environment: The chimney blasting environment is complex. The south side of the 180m high chimney is 95m away from the factory-owned train track, 170m away from the south of the railway plant; the west side is 155m away from Huaneng Power Plant, the east side is 161m away from the factory wall, and 178m away from the wall water plant. On the northeast side, the old office building to be demolished by the power plant is 178m away, and the nearest resident building is 182m away from the wall.

 

  Structure: The outer radius of the bottom of the chimney is 7.980m, the inner radius is 7.560m, the wall thickness is 0.42m; the outer outer radius is 2.580m, the inner radius is 2.420m, the wall thickness is 0.20m; the chimney liner is 0.24m thick, and the perlite insulation layer is 0.10m. There is one chimney flue, the bottom of the flue is 5m from the ground, the flue is 8.4m high (the reinforcement is dense in the range of 8.4~12.5m, the reinforcement is gradually normal in 12.5m), the mouth width is 4.8m; the upper edge of the flue It is 13.4m above the ground. Because the chimney is in variable section in the range of 21m~25m high, the thickness of the chimney wall of 25m~32m is uniform. The 0~55m elevation concrete is C30, the 55~130m elevation concrete is C25, and the 130m elevation concrete is C20. The volume of concrete and lining of the barrel is 2217m3, the volume of the insulation layer is 61.59m3, and the total mass of the chimney is about 5542T.

 

  Incision: According to computer simulation, the chimney needs to meet the instantaneous support requirement of the chimney retention part in the inflow of more than 10m in the flue. Therefore, the position of the chimney incision is selected from 25.0m to 28.0m. For the convenience of work, set up aerial work scaffolding.

 

  Backward: As long as the collapsed site is 178m away from the old office building in the northeast direction, the chimney is cut at a high position of 25-28m. The actual landing length of the chimney is about 155m, and the landing length basically meets the requirements.

 

  Measures: 180m chimney collapse direction, using coal ash to accumulate several dams every 25m, the length of each dam is 155m, 130m, 105m, 80m, 55m; the dam body is 2m wide and the width is wide 4m, dam length 40m, pile height 2m, use the preparation bag to fill the coal ash at the top of the dam and tie the mouth, laying 6 layers, the total height is 3m, the flat land between each dam is paved with coal ash or dry soil, thickness 0.5m; another 6m high anti-shock wall is piled up on both sides of the old office building; the chimney is turned upside down to lift a few 3m deep damping grooves to form a three-sided ditch damping. And outside the three-sided damping groove, use the steel pipe frame to hang the bamboo fence to hang the net, and set up a splash-proof wall with a height of 15m.

 

  Construction: Project Department of Engineering Engineering College of PLA University of Science and Technology, after 25 days of careful construction (5 days for scaffolding, 8 days for perforation construction, 6 days for pre-treatment, 1 day for pre-treatment blasting, and stacking prevention with perforation and pre-treatment) The wall was splashed for 15 days, the charge protection was 2 days, the high-altitude scaffolding was removed for 2 days, and the chimney blasting was carried out for 1 day. The blasting was very successful.

 

  Effect: After the chimney blasting, the chimneys all landed at 15.924 seconds. The centerline of the landing is basically coincident with the centerline of the whole station. The deviation is 1.5 degrees to the left (the chimney is slightly tilted to the left when it is 120m or more)

 

  The seismic data at the residential wall on the northeast side of the blasting area (182m from the root of the chimney and 30m from the top of the chimney) are as follows:

 

  In the vertical direction, the maximum value of the vibration velocity in the vertical direction is 0.2448 cm/s;

 

  At 8 seconds, the incision cylinder fell to the ground, and the vertical vibration velocity was 0.04 cm/s.

 

  At 11.68 seconds, the barrel body touched the ground one after another, and the vertical vibration speed was 0.191 cm/s.

 

  At 15.924 seconds, the top of the chimney is completed and the waveform becomes a straight line.

 

  Safety: After blasting, after on-site inspection, the front and middle sections of the chimney block were broken, the back section was flattened, the dam was squeezed to form a clear gap, the sand was extruded to both sides, and the sandbags were individually thrown to the ground of 15m, with a small amount of sand. Splashed to the wall of the old office building at 26 meters (the building was originally demolished, the chimney was blasted, the building was quickly removed) but no splashing concrete pieces were seen 20 meters away.

 

  Residents near the 200-meter warning line reported that the blasting noise was not large and the vibration was not obvious. The housing closest to the chimney head 30m was witnessed by the residents of the neighborhood committee, the engineers of the Ministry and the owner of the household. Three beer bottles were inverted on the bed, on the table and on the ground. The door was evacuated before the blasting. After the blasting, the three parties jointly opened the door of the occupant. Three beer bottles were inverted and the director of the neighborhood committee took the lead. The blast was successfully carried out. Very high evaluation.

 

  The dust is not big. Due to the 2~3 winds of the southeast wind during the blasting, and the light rain in the first 12 hours, the air and the ground are moist, and the smoke generated during the blasting is basically scattered in the site for about 5 minutes.

Announcement:TheMinistryofPublicSecurityissuedtwostandardsforgradingmanagementofblastingoperations   AccordingtotheRegulationsontheSafetyManagementofCivilExplosives,theMinistryofPublicSecurityissuedtwostandardsforthegradingmanagementofblastingoperationsonMay2,2012-"QualificationRequirementsandManagementRequirementsforBlastingOperationUnits"(GA990-2012),Theblastingoperationprojectmanagementrequirements(GA991-2012)(hereinafterreferredtoas"twostandards"),andissuedthe"Noticeontheimplementationoftheblastingoperationunitqualificationconditionsandmanagementrequirements"and"blastingoperationprojectmanagementrequirements"》.   Recently,theMinistryofPublicSecuritywillorganizeandcarryoutnationalpublicityactivities. TheProvincialDepartmentwill,inaccordancewiththespiritoftheMinistryofPublicSecurity'snoticeandtherequirementsofpublicity,combinedwiththepracticeofpublicsecuritymanagementintheblastingoperationindustryofourprovince,carefullystudyandformulatetheimplementationofworksteps,conductresearch,developaworksystem,establishaspecialorganization,andcarryoutimplementationworkinanorderlymanner. Thespecificworkrequirementsaretobenotifiedbytheprovincialgovernment.   AccordingtothenoticeoftheMinistryofPublicSecurity,theworkofcleaningupandrectifyingtheexistingblastingoperationsunitsandissuingthe"BlastingOperationUnitPermit"shallbecompletedbyDecember31,2012. Therefore,asofJanuary1,2013,anyunitmustholdtheBlastingOperationUnitPermittoengageinblastingoperations,otherwiselegalliabilityshouldbepursued. Beforethatdate,theoriginallegal"ExplosivesUsePermit"cancontinuetobeusedbyunitsthathavenotbeenorderedtostoptheiremployment.Thecommercialblastingoperationunitcanstillholdaneffectiveconstructiondepartment"blastinganddemolition"qualification.Thedocumentsareintheprovincetoundertaketheblastingoperationitemsofthecorrespondingtype.   Fromnowon,theprovincewillnolongerapprovetheoriginal"ExplosiveGoodsUsePermit",andthepublicsecurityorganswillstopacceptingtheconditionalreviewworkoftheconstructionandconstructiondepartmententrustedbytheconstructiondepartmentto"blastinganddemolitioncontractingqualifications".   downloadattachment:   1.Noticeontheimplementationofthe"QualificationConditionsandManagementRequirementsforBlastingOperationUnits"and"ManagementRequirementsforBlastingOperationProjects"   2.Qualificationconditionsandmanagementrequirementsoftheblastingoperationunit   3.Blastingoperationprojectmanagementrequirements

ThePeakGardenwasbuiltin1994andwascappedin1997.The34-storeybuildingis344.1metershigh.Itisaframe-supportedshearwallstructure.Itisthetallestbuildingdemolishedbydomesticblastingandhasappliedtobecomethe"Asia'sfirstexplosion".Oneofthefewhigh-risebuildings. ThePeakGardenwasappliedforblastinginFebruarytoofficialblastingonAugust13.Thetimewasupto6months.Thedayswearelookingforwardtoarefinallycoming,andIwishtheChinesepeopleasuccessfulblast! At10:30onthemorningofAugust13,withtheorderofLiuWen,thechairmanofthesmashingengineeringheadquartersofShijiePeakGarden,thestaffofGuangdongZhongrenGroupConstructionCo.,Ltd.Pressedthepulsedetonatorinyourhand. "嘣,嘣,嘣..."18consecutiveloudnoises,afterashort3.6seconds,atotalheightof104.1meters,atotalof34layersofZhongshanShijiePeakGardenunfinishedbuildingsweighingtensofthousandsoftonsofbody,oneSuddenly,hesuddenly"squats"andsuddenlyrushestowardthewestsideoftheopenspace. Thethreehigh-poweredfireenginesthathavebeenwaitingforalongtimeimmediatelysprayedahugeamountofwatermist,andcarriedout“interceptioninterception”onthedust“whitesmoke”causedbytheexplosion,andsprinkledwatertoreducedust. Congratulationsontheheadquartersofthemeetingroomonthe4thfloorofShunjingGarden,andthesimpleviewingplatformsetuponthebalconyburstintoapplause. Atthispoint,theblastingprojectofthePeakGarden,whichisknownasthe"Asia'sNo.1Blast",wasacompletesuccess. Afterthat,itwillenterthedemolitionandclean-upphaseforupto50days.   ItisunderstoodthatthetopofthehillgardenislocatedinthesouthsideofZhongshanCollege,DongchengDistrict,ZhongshanCity,ZhongshanCity,ontheeastsideofthesnowroad,willbebuiltintheStarCityBuilding. Thebuildingtobeexplodedis104.1meters,withatotalof34floors(including1basement),33.8meterswidefromeasttowest,38.5meterslongfromnorthtosouth,and27875squaremeters. Thebuildingisframe-supportedshearwallstructure,arrangedina“well”shape.The1stfloorandthebasementareframestructures,the2-32floorsareshearwallstructures,andthemiddlepartisthecoretube. Theeastsideofthebuildingis44metersawayfromthebottomoftheslope,thesoutheastsideis40metersawayfromDongyueTemple;thesouthsideis5.2metersawayfromthewall,only6metersawayfromthenearestresidentialhouse;thewestsideis81metersawayfromthebottomoftheslope. Thebuildingwasbuiltin1994andwascappedin1997. Forvariousreasons,thebuildinghasnotbeenofficiallyputintouse.IthasbeenrenamedasthePeakGarden,YangmingMountainVilla,StarCity,andZhongshanCity,butithasneverbeenabletogetridofthefateofthe"unfinished". InJune2007,thebuildingwastransferredtoZhongshanChangjiangZhaoyeRealEstateDevelopmentCo.,Ltd.asawhole. InordertocopewiththeoverallplanningdevelopmentofZhongshanCity,acceleratethepaceofrenovationoftheoldcity,andaccordingtothecompany'sprojectplanningneeds,decidedtouseblastingdemolition,theplotwillberebuiltafterthedemolition.   OnFebruary25,commissionedbythePublicSecurityBureauoftheMinistryofPublicSecurity,theGuangdongProvincialPublicSecurityDepartmentandtheZhongshanPublicSecurityBureau,theChinaEngineeringBlastingAssociationhostedareviewmeetinginBeijingonthe“BlastingDemolitionProjectoftheUnfinishedBuildingoftheShijiazhuangPeakGardeninZhongshanCity”.TheexpertgroupledbyWangXuguang,academicianoftheChineseAcademyofEngineeringandchairmanoftheChinaEngineeringBlastingAssociation,listenedtothebriefingandreviewrequirementsoftheProvincialPublicSecurityDepartmentandtheMunicipalPublicSecurityBureauontheblastingproject,andintroducedtheconstructionplanoftheGuangdongZhongrenGroup.Afterquestioninganddiscussion,thereviewopinionswereputforwardandtheMunicipalPublicSecurityBureauwasapprovedtoapprovetheconstructionoftheproject. Inordertoensurethesafetyandsuccessoftheblastingdemolitionproject,theZhongshanMunicipalGovernmenthasspeciallysetupacoordinationheadquarters,whichisresponsiblefort
