It has been renamed as the Peak Garden, Yangming Mountain Villa, Star City, and Zhongshan City, but it has never been able to get rid of the fate of the "unfinished". In June 2007, the building was transferred to Zhongshan Changjiang Zhaoye Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. as a whole. In order to cope with the overall planning development of Zhongshan City, accelerate the pace of renovation of the old city, and according to the company's project planning needs, decided to use blasting demolition, the plot will be rebuilt after the demolition.
